Staff/Senior Accountant
Profit Plus
Function
As a brand ambassador, the Staff/Senior Accountant provides financial services to our internal divisions and clients. They prepare financial reports to track assets, liabilities, profit and toss, tax liabilities and other related financial activities. This role is critical to the financial knowledge and well-being of multiple companies.
Responsibilities
- Performs general ledger accounting and other related duties in the accounting department
- Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements and cash balance reports
- Codes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts and closes the monthly books
- Reconciles bank accounts, verifies deposits and addresses inquiries from banks
- Reconciles customer accounts and manages accounts receivable collections
- Verifies payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts
- Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit
- Files required sales and use tax forms, state and local government agencies
- As appropriate, coordinates with software vendor to maintain accounting software system; recommends updates to enhance the accounting software
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Updates and provides reporting metrics
- Develops and maintains good working relationships with clients

Skills and Abilities
- Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting
- Restaurant Accounting experience a plus
- Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles
- Highly proficient with ERP systems – MS Dynamics Great Plains
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain deadlines, despite setbacks
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
- Ability to switch between projects, clients and physical requirements quickly
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking ability
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting and being in front of a computer monitor
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline required
- Two or more years of accounting experience required

As a brand ambassador, the Digital Media Manager is responsible for all forms of digital brand awareness. They have a firm grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and integrate traditional media with digital media with ease and high success.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and oversee all digital marketing, social media, email marketing, website updates, SEO & SEM, and creative content
- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies for Goodcents platforms
- Design, build and maintain our social media presence according to company goals
- Coordinate and manage the creation of all digital content such as website, blogs, press releases and podcasts, infographics, videos etc.
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
